We are looking for a dedicated, resourceful and service-driven applicant who
wants a challenging, stable, and long term position with a dedicated support

be comfortable supporting dynamic environments with a variety of systems,
networks and software.

the team. We are looking for someone who loves technology, finding solutions
and loves learning new things. The individual must be comfortable working
directly with end users in both a helpdesk environment and on-site in a
fast-paced environment. Most of all, we are looking for someone who understands
the importance of fixing issues once, completely, the first time.
We are interested in a self-motivated, disciplined, organized individual with
an excellent work ethic and the ability to manage/track time and handle
multiple projects simultaneously. The position requires that the individual be
capable of working in a team environment, be comfortable taking instruction,
and be able to operate effectively and proactively without direct supervision.
In addition, the individual must be capable of top-notch professional
interaction with clients in both written and verbal forms and be comfortable
providing feedback and input to the team and management. We are looking for
someone who can cheerfully and effectively communicate with team members and
clients. The individual must be capable of working in accordance with
established policies and procedures. We run a pleasant and respectful shop and

We expect the individual to perform their duties with the competence, patience

function of this position.
Skills and Education
A+, MCSE, CCNA, CCNE, CSP preferred, but not required depending on experience
3 years+ of experience in a business IT environment
1+ years of help desk with direct customer interaction
1+ years of field experience
Strong knowledge of Servers, Networks, standard PC hardware/software
installation, administration, troubleshooting and repair
Windows client/server networks, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP configuration, and Windows
Active Directory
Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate professionally
and effectively with clients
Direct experience with Microsoft Exchange, Windows Server and Workstations,
Terminal Server, MS Office.
Direct experience with Firewalls, Switches, Cabling, Wireless access points
Direct experience with Managed Anti-Virus, Backup/restore software and hardware
Direct experience with Cisco, Sonicwall, 3COM, etc.
Experience with Apple, Android, Blackberry Mobile Devices preferred.
Other Requirements:
Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
Ability to be physically agile and able to maneuver and work in a confined
space
Flexible working hours are required, including nights and occasional weekends.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current insurance is
required as the position will include on-site visits throughout the major
metropolitan area of Houston.
Occasional travel outside the Houston area to cities such as Tomball, Austin,
Dallas, and San Antonio may also be required.
A cell phone capable of secure Active Sync connection and policy compliance is
also required.
